Forums General Chit-Chat Studying Tips?

Donator — He/She Posted 4 years ago ( 2019/11/12 23:58:11 )
I've been out of school for years now and I'm taking classes to become a home inspector. I was given a couple of binders as books and I have to read through them. Since I don't have a background in construction, I have to be thorough.

So does anyone have any studying tips?

Currently, after work I review the highlighted parts I've already read and then read a new chapter each day. I feel like I could improve though.

Look at you strawberry blonde!

If you know your learning style, use that to your advantage.
Otherwise, use as many of your senses as you can... write out your notes (by hand) while reading them aloud...

Good luck.

Reading out loud and making flash cards and taking notes in your own words. Get a partner who studies or knows what you are studying and converse about the topic constantly like teach eachother back and fourth.
