[ Lol it confused my friend. She's like 'you're already checked out?' and it's like yeah. I put a on hold the books I want to read on the library's website ahead of time. So all I have to do is just pick them up. XD

I called the owner of a store here in the evening before, asking if they would have this one thing I needed for a dish my mother wanted to eat.
Next day, I arrived and got the dish on a plate for her.

[ Yeah they wouldn't do that here. Lol especially since you have to pay right there, no like tabs or credit or whatever. ]
You can sometimes pay later here. The pharmacist here is with the doctor and I needed meds before, just coming from the doctor. Didn’t have my wallet, so they gave me my meds and let me pay later on.
