My father loved France and everything that comes with it. He’d go to France every year and also went to the Tour de France at least one day every holiday.

The honeymoon of my parents was also in France, for a month, and they went there several times during the summer.

After my father passed away, nearly 25 years ago, my mother kept watching the Tour.
Even in her past year, while going through chemotherapy, she watched because of my father.

Today the Tour de France has started and guess who’s watching?
Yep, moi!

Anyone have family traditions like this?
Anyone watching the Tour?

We always watch the Tour as well. We however don't really have any family traditions.

@Tuijp: Yeh that really sucks. But atleast we got the yellow jersey!
I am more worried about Fuglsang. He had blood on his face and he wasn't sitting correctly on his bike anymore.

@vengeance: I always worry when they fall. They go fast and falling can cause pretty bad injuries.

@Tuijp: Fuglsang was taken to the hospital right after he finished. They don't know how it is with Thomas. He also fell.

Here in the darkness I know myself

My mom loved going to the beach, she would take me and my sisters all the time. Tomorrow we are going to the beach in remembrance of mom.
Can’t break free until I let it go.
Let me go..
