There is no volt cap. I have over 300k. I think if you have 25k volts it's a lot. Most people have trouble saving on here XD

Monthly crate items are 5k each(normally). The rare crate items are between 12-15k normally. Orb items start at 3k and get more expensive from there. There is a price guide in the exchange.

@Operation Katana: Max amount of volts you can earn per post is 50, if i am remembering correctly? the different forum rules and guidelines will tell you how many volts you can earn per post depending on the forum (forums like the Undercurrent have a lower amount due to the more spam nature of it.)
Some forums, like the testing forum give you no volts, so something to keep in mind as well.

Like Totalanimefan mentioned, there is the Item Guide that should help with any of the price estimates.
