I saved up to get a gaming laptop eventually and my sister has it now. So it's still truckin'.

@terror 404: Oh, nice! This is my first HP I've ever had. I've always been a Toshiba fan but they're pretty far and few these days. The only "gaming" I really do is Sims 4. So I think my Pavilion should be adequate enough for that. Or at least I hope it will be.

Oh yeah definitely. Another thing that determines whether I join in a lot of the time are the people involved in the conversation itself. But maybe that's just me? I mean I tend to feel more comfortable talking to users I have talked to on multiple occasions than those I rarely chat with or see around.

My last Toshiba was probably a good 8 years older or more I bet. It was my mom's old laptop before she got the one she's using now and a Windows 7. But it held up for an awful long time. I had it for probably about 3-4 years myself.
