Also have a bunch of plants and trees and plan to add even more next year.

@Unicorn: the ‘curtains ‘ that came with the house are pretty much see through.
New curtains are on my to do list for the house, but low priority since no one can look into that window. Well, next to Nigel and the German neighbours who are there 4 weeks total per year.
@Tuijp: well it is good that no one can really see in if it is pretty high up. and sorry to hear that they are see through at the moment.

I will get actual curtains some day, when I find curtains I actually like and don’t cost an arm and a leg.
@Tuijp: I am guessing that curtains are pretty expensive where you are at? what color, and how long, how dark of curtains?

@Unicorn: there are cheap curtains but they aren’t long enough to go allto the bottom of the window. The ones that do and are a reasonable price, are either see through or only come in grey or brown.
I don’t want grey or brown. Anything but those 2 colours.
@Tuijp: okay what is length and width of your windows, I can understand on not wanting brown or grey for curtains
