@YamiYugi: In the header of the site there is a little christmas calendar thingy.
That has some daily items you can collect, but I think you'll have to wait a few days for that since new accounts can't collect auto-grant event stuff right away.
For the other games you can find them in the Sticky threads in the event forum.
If you post and participate in those threads, you'll get event items put into your inventory after the event finishes.
Also, by posting you're collecting Bells, and you can trade those in at the Joyful Jamboree shop for event items.
There aren't any customizable items currently, unfortunately.
You can buy shop common items in a good number of colors, and most items that aren't common items will come with 3-5 different color choices.
