my roommate is hawaiian. only reason why his family left when he was in high school was because cost of living was getting harder and harder. Everything is pretty much double or triple the price of things on the mainland due to having to fly it or boat it to the island.
@macsen191: so did your roomates family go back to Hawaii or? so sorry to be asking
