Millet, spilling the tea: Being an easily amused preteen I just remember this gif that was like:
Dancing chibi Pirates of the Caribbean characters.
"YO-HO-A PIRATE IS ME."
"YOU ARE A PIRATE!"
Then the gif flashed to the chibi pirates dancing and flashing text that said:
LOL LIMEWIRE.
and I just died laughing the first time I saw it.
Not sure if anyone even remembers limewire anymore.
@Millet: I used to get all my music from limewire.. Good times. (In my mid twenties x.x)But gif wise, I couldn't find that BUT...
Not that I'm not ok with this being a day, but... who comes up with national "whatever" days? I want that job. Imagine the fun I could spread to the masses.

@Glume: There is too many! How about united nations? Or some other multi country group.. @Robyn: Theres not too many, you just have to get creative with your approach. Get a popular fast food chain to start an annual sale. Petition folks to help you write letters. Buy late night add space and suggest it subliminally. Endless possibilities!!
@Glume: .... Maybe just looking into how other national days began might help, if it worked for them, its got to work again!
