Be really persistent and keep showing up.
It also depends on the background check. The lady said that if a candidate was marked as un-hireable by the HQ, then they could not even see the application anymore for that location.

but yeah, contact them. As far as I know (around here at least) some places WANT to see you check in. They say they'll contact you, but basically they don't plan on it, but plan on waiting for you to check in - because that's waht they gave you.

I can't say for certain that's the case here, but it IS possible. (Even if unlikely?)

Thanks. Might have to wait until mid-March to be safe since more checks go back 7 years.
Though misdemeanors are not felony class, so they shouldn't affect hiring decisions.
Though I say shouldn't, but I know they have in in my past experiences.

Yeah, as long as we actually do get taxes this year. -fingers crossed- Though it is looking good so far.
If not, then we are covered through March.
Yeah. I hope it doesn't take that long. Last year, we were staying with my mom and step-dad. We REALLY don't want to move back there if can be helped.
Already moved about 10 times since the kids were born.
