@littlewhitedragonlet: I have this puzzle calendar I've been doing all year and all of the word searches in it have that same mechanic, so I'm used to checking for that kind of thing :P
Also, ms paint has straight lines too, yet I insist on using the brush tool for some weird reason.

Although, the flowers say somebody had trampled through here rather rudely earlier.
Perhaps it was him, they said he seemed to be in a rush towards the castle… Hm...”
The Garden Hostess nodded, before looking to a flower and nodding,
“Oh, and that he was alone. I think you’ll need to speak to somebody else for a better story, I apologize.”
Static sighs, turning to you with a nod, "Who should we speak to next?"

@Littlewhitedragonlet: My calendar has word searches, word scrambles (with a twist), sudoku (with base 10 and binary numbers!), and some really neat visual logic puzzles! But ooooh it would be fun to time myself, to see if I get faster at them over time o3o
