@Angelus: We only have two vowels to work with, so there is probably a U or Y in the first three letters of that word. It's unlikely that it starts with four consonants in a row. I like the "-ness" ending but it hasn't worked for me yet so I may have to think outside the box a bit more...

I believe the ending of the 4th word could also be 'nest'. I almost thought earnest but again with that damn A being absent.
