YEAH I love them, they're a bad format for clarity but they have a nice, warm, grainy texture on screen and the experience of popping a clunky brick into the machine to watch a movie is just nice in general so I got deep into collecting them... I have way too many though I need to downsize my collection

HAHA it's okay I kind of just slipped it in there. And aw I'm glad! movies and vhs are the one thing I can go off on for like, forever that's a lie I ramble about everything
Right now my collection's a total mess since I just kind of grabbed whatever I could get my hands on, but my big focus is on horror, especially 80s horror. I have... so many copies of the Evil Dead movies for example HAHA They're my favourite kinds of movies. I also love finding really weird, bad, obscure movies (which is also like, 90% of my dvd collection)

Yeah I really love the series, the second movie is one of my favourite films of all time. And yeah in 2013! It's not actually a remake, it's more like a reimagining? Like they took the same setting/idea but they made a different story with different characters for it, and it's reaaaaaaally gory. It's not bad if you're into that kind of thing, it's a lot more serious in tone but has its funny moments too
they also made a tv show Ash vs Evil Dead, it's really goofy
