@Unicorn: The only issue I'm having is determining if he is black or a dark red. It's hard to tell because he seems to be depicted as either one, depending on the image. And also the lighting of some of the images.

@Unicorn: I actually did a bit of research, as it's been a while since I'd read The Hobbit or seen the original animated movie. And Smaug, as described and illustrated by Tolkien himself, is red. Or described as red-gold. And is also red in the original animated movie. So for authenticity, I would go with that.
I was cutting up ingredients for the pumpkin soup, with my dog right next to me. I found out he likes raw pumpkin, apple, orange juice and ginger, but you keep those nasty carrots
