my friend and i missed our ferry now we might miss our concert.

I was "late" getting to a concert in Chicago with my boyfriend last month.
There was a lot of traffic getting into the city and we missed our exit on the interstate and had to backtrack.
But it was just the opening act that we missed, got there right as they finished their last song.
I got to see the whole set for the band I meant to see at least.
And was able to nudge my way in pretty close to the stage even.

after a lot of crappy happenings, like my friend booking the wrong day for the hotel...
we made it.
we did miss the opening act but we
didnt miss who we paid for which was fantastic.
we went to go see halsey, and it was my first
concert buy deep down im like was this really
all worth it. so much stress.
we also didnt know our way around vancouver
properly. i wanted to die.
all in all though, we made it and are on the ferry back home.
