Here is a lame representation of what I am working with!
To add, I own 3 cats. So cat friendly is necessary!!

I would say browse thrift and charity stores and see if anything that caught my eye I would get it. I got a collage that looked nice from there. I have it but I don’t know what photos to put in it yet lol
If you wanted it to be more personal lots of people buy the pictures for the frames and then paint or spray paint it and add art they did or commissioned.

    It really just depends on what you like; it's hard to look at a space and give suggestions blindly. As an example, when I lived alone, I preferred a more simple and industrial look. My furniture was either gray or dark blue, and the harder pieces were a darker-colored wood so that everything could be interchanged in each room without clashes. In the house I'm in now, we tend to focus more on pieces that have storage.

    It helps to find photos of rooms that you like, and to remember what you're using the room for. I have a book of sketches of the spaces in the house so that I can easily refer to it if I happen across a piece of furniture or storage item that I like. I just open up the book, look to see if it would fit in the particular space I'm imagining and go from there.

@Totalanimefan:
I actually found one at Hobby Lobby yesterday!
I didn't get it because it was $98.99. But I am inspired by
it! So I might paint my own! I'm really excited about it!
I just need to figure out what theme/style I'm doing. When I
saw it, I felt it would do great in the living room.

@blue:
Oh yes! Storage is a must! Especially in the office! Storage is
my main objective in the office because I want the rest of the flat
to feel homey and relaxed. So maybe a modern chic?
I should try to do the sketchbook idea. Maybe it will help me?
If it doesn't, I will try another way. I definitly want artificial plants/trees
in the living room and bedroom for sure! I feel they liven up the
area. They also don't require anything but a dusting a few times
a month. I do plan to get real cat grass though. The girls need that
kind of thing till they feel more at home there. I already know
my gromp, Loken is going to hide somewhere for a week....
The other 2 should be fine. Chloe (the "mom") us used to relocating.

Maybe a small reading chair added!
