Hello everyone~
This event came at the worst possible time for me, so I figured I'd make myself a little home base for when I can.

My boyfriend's brother is visiting us for two weeks and this week I have to focus on finishing an order because I've been slacking my bum off. D;

@blinkini: Yeah that timing is great! The event just started like 3-4 hours ago and we don't even have all of the event threads up yet. I think they are coming tomorrow?
I've been good. I don't remember the last time we chatted. In the spring time I got vaccinated. So that's good. I'm trying to navigate this weird limbo the world is in now. I'm starting school again on Sept 1st. It's 100% online and go at your own pace so I hope to finish in a year with my transfer credits.

And there are already some items available.
Looks like they're doing things a little different this time.

My life has really just been the same as it's been for the past year...
Crochet, take care of the house, feed everyone, repeat.

@blinkini: Yeah today is just like a preview it started kind of thing. I've seen them do this for some of the events. It's not like this for every event. I'm glad that they did like this because I need all the posting I can get before the 1st lol

I'm several episodes behind on the podcast, but omg I ADORE Distractible! :D Especially "Bob's Fridge;" I've listened to that one several times and it puts me in tears, it's so great lmao.

It took me a while to get through Future. Idk what it was that week, but every time I put it on I would get distracted.
But last week and this week have been so good!
Bob's Fridge is definitely a roller coaster. Lol.
My boyfriend is a manager at a used appliance store, so that was the first episode I got him to listen to.

@Ava: Distractible is a fun podcast put out by Mark Fishbach (Markiplier), Bob Muyskens (Muyskerm) and Wade Barnes (LordMinion777). They have a set topic every time and take turns being the host, and whoever is host "judges" (I use that term loosely) the other two on their handling of the topic. They're hilarious! "Bob's Fridge" and "Hold My Beer" are among my favorite episodes.

Another podcast I enjoy is called The Purple Stuff Podcast, and it's all about 80s/90s nostalgia (mostly) as well as just pop culture in general.

@Ava: I mean in the case of dial-up I think I consider them lucky, lmao. I kinda miss AIM though. There's Discord and Guilded, and those are great, but it's not quite the same feel, you know?

@Ava: yeah, custom colors and such were nice, if a little hard on the eyes sometimes! At least Discord has a little bio section now, though you have to pay for the higher tier Nitro to get the bio banner. A little miffed about that paywall.
