I've always wondered, cause I'm sure not everyone is considerate enough to actually drop off clean clothes.

Blin - If it smells too much like body odor or animal pee, I don't even go through the bag, I just toss it in bale.
But, no, we do not wash them before hand. Some of the clothes smell good, some could use a bit of a wash.
Should always wash them before hand, just in case.

There have been some gross donations. I'm thinking "why do you think anyone would want this? Why even send it to us?"
