It's hard when you live in a spot that isn't good for Pokemon Go. I had a place in the Bay Area that was a real dead spot. You had to drive like 25+ mins to find a good park or an area with enough people to raid with.
Where I am here it's super good. I only have to walk a little way for the daily pokestop spin and I can walk two blocks and I'm on a Main Street for playing PoGo. Not that close to any parks though. Gotta walk like a mile for that.

Hard to do that when you get home late. Sometimes I don't give in and just have like fruit or something. That works most of the time.
