@sunny: Yes it does. What was a little of a surprise was the first day where things were absolutely flying past! It usually takes more time for people to realize the event has started and to get that kind of steam...

@Wildfire: that's true, things really were moving fast at the beginning! it was hard to keep up at first.
maybe it was because people knew the event was coming so they were more prepared.

The event officially launched on January 9th, and will run for two weeks, ending on January 23rd. ... plus the extra week, once everything is released. <-------- per the announcement.
