Oh I have most of the recipes, I am trying to complete my recipe book in terms of obtainable recipes (not the alchemized spin items, if that makes sense)

It really can be annoying when the last npc wants you to do a quest for someone else. That's why I always do quests in a certain order. Louise Hill: Old Farmhand, Lilia, and Calbet first. Then finish up the others in any order. 3's Forest: Glume > Mycel or Barclay, and Magdalene > Irin > Trout. That way I never get stuck without being able to finish a quest.
