@Bioshock: yuuuuupp; esp cause when I was younger my mom ran an in-home daycare and I helped out, plus I was a girl scout for 13 years, so they all expect me to be okay with it
like yes, for a couple hours once or twice a week, or when I was 5-10 years old, I enjoy watching other people's children
because I like kids
but I do not want to take care of your children for you while you are standing right there and ignoring them and me, or when you leave without telling me when you'll be back. just because you don't place any value in the things I do with my free time doesn't mean it's not important to me and that I have "nothing better to do" than watch your kids
even my girlfriend's kids get a little much after a while and those are children I have chosen to accept into my life as part of my family. Like those are my kids too. But as much as I love them, which is more than anything in the world, I just don't have the mental energy to be around them more than a day or 3 in a row. And she gets that. She knows I love them but I'm just not a Mom kind of person and don't have the capability to deal with it ha
I admire moms and dads so so so much for what they do for their kids I just don't like when they expect me to be able to do the same thing when I've told them I'm not
