@Unicorn: Air dry clay can be good, I think I might have a pack of some around... but I've heard that a lot of Air dry clays are prone to cracking as they dry unfortunately =(

As for who next, I'm trying the 'Jazza avatar'. It's the drawn version of the youtube personality that goes by Jazza.

@Amber Lynne: oh neat, well I found a do it yourself air dry clay making that calls for some oil so maybe it wont crack.

@Amber Lynne: wow that dont cost much. our walmart barely has anything just a couple of weeks ago hey had to fire some employees who were stealing things that people had already payed for that they ordered on the site and had it shipped. the 3 that were caught doing this were hiding the stuff in the back shipping department or outside somewhere and then taking it home. but I am glad they got caught and fired.

@Amber Lynne:
oo any pics?
i’ve worked w clay once before, but the guy who invited me over to create ended up being a creep.. so i told him off and left my project there ): and never seemed to find a chance to work with clay again. i would really love to get back into it though. what kinda clay do you use?

@zaatarhoney: Of course =)

And I use Sculpey. I don't have access to a kiln, so oven pake polymer clay is the best option for me =)

It is unfortuante that you left yours behind though =(
At least there's a chance you could get something like Sculpey and work on your stuff at home?

There are also air dry clays too.

@Amber Lynne:
are you making a claymation series?
i could see him on adult swim, tbh. hahaha (:

& yeah, it was such a cool experience up until then, lol. i flattened the clay and started drawing into it- he jokingly took it, rolled the thick clay back into a ball and said, “i want to see it.” which pushed me to create something really cool... but i know i could make something like that again, and maybe even better. you’re right, i’m definitely feeling really inspired to research into it~ what do you think are the best quality air/oven-drys to paint acrylic over?

@zaatarhoney: Nope.
It's actually on Youtube.

Search for 'Draw With Jazza' and you'll find him =)

As for clays, The only one I've got any sort of experience with is Das.
They're pretty cheap here in Canada, $5CAD for 500g of the stuff.
But I have very limited experience with it.

Sculpey seems to paint over well though, as long as you have a base of white or whatever.
