I've heard turning 16 is a big thing...I'm not getting a sweet 16 tho but I hope I get to go somewhere and hang out with friends at least or it wouldn't be fair cuz my sis did both..

@RainbowPanda: Yeah, I hope you get to do something fun to celebrate your second 8th birthday. You're real close (knock on wood).
When I turned 16, I ate cake with my parents and a couple friends. I didn't feel different or nothing. Took me a couple months to realize I had to start telling people I was 16 instead of 15, but that kinda thing always takes a while. Same thing with new years. It takes me until March to start writing the correct year on things.
