Gendered things is why I much prefer swedish over other languages, instead of he-her gendered nouns, they have neuter and I forget the name for it but I think it's something like proper gendered nouns. Neuter is for objects that wouldn't have any living essence, the other one is for living things

I hate pitch languages, but I have to deal with it sometimes with swedish since there are definitely some words that if you don't have the right tone it would mean something completely different

Oh yeah and if you remove articles or whatever in french from statements it almost always means something inappropriate lol

And with Mandarin, and Chinese in general, the writing system is what interests me the most. Learning a tonal language also seems like it would be interesting.

Swedish gets confusing with questions, since in english we definitely have a singular tone for when we ask questions, but with swedish it's each word gets their own tones

Ah, in Korean making something a question is fairly easy. A lot of the time, all you have to do is change your tone.
사과를 좋아해요. - I like apples.
사과를 좋아해요? - Do you like apples?
사과를 좋아해요. - I like apples.
사과를 좋아해요? - Do you like apples?
The second would be read with a questioning tone, and that's the only difference
@eleven: yeap. usually frm around 8-9 am they will be on the side with bridges where its easy to feed them from, but during the colder ish temperatures they will swim to the other side with very tall hills and thick torn bushes
Of course there are some other question endings as well depending on the exact nature of the sentence

I could be completely wrong btu in swedish their questions are stated like a normal statement and it's up to to figure out if it's a question
