Tell me about the beautiful places in your life.

Were they on a trip, or close to home?
Did you ever go back?
Do you have a photo?

I would say that Japan was really beautiful even in the city. I loved the parks, but just the buildings had a beauty to them. The shrine's were beautiful too, like

As for America I really like some of the buildings and parks in NYC.
One World Trade Center looks the same no matter what direction you look at it from and I think that it's beautiful

Another beauty would be the High Line Park. Every time I go to the city I have to go there. It's an above ground park that used to be a train, the train line closed and instead of letting it sit there they turned it into a public park for everyone to enjoy.
The High Line's Website

The other one would be the sunrise where I'm from in Florida. There is just something about the sunrise on the beach that is so magical. Whenever I'm in Florida I always do this at least one of the mornings I am there.

Sadly I have not traveled a whole lot, but a place that I will always remember fondly as being a seriously amazing testament of nature would be Carlsbad Caverns. Being there is just other-worldly.

@khadijacandy: I live in CA now. I haven’t climbed a mountain to see the sunrise. I’m sure it’s beautiful I would just worry about my safety ^^;
@skettiyeti: I don’t know about those. You should add a picture so we can see it.

@kiwi: wow that’s really pretty. How many hours away is that from your house?

@totalanimefan: I know right? Yeah, it is pretty far. It's in New Mexico and I live in Idaho now (used to be SoCal). I'd love to visit again sometime. I've only been once but it's something I will remember forever.

You get to really walk in them a lot, on a path of course, but it really feels like you're spelunking. I think it was about an hour walk-through?

@skettiyeti: oh that is pretty far from you now. But now you can see Kiwi’s favorite place!

@totalanimefan: That's a brilliant idea. I'm driving to Oregon this Christmas to see my brother, so that is a perfect opportunity to do some sight seeing!

Waipio Valley Black Sand Beach - The Big Island of Hawaii

It's truly magical but a huge pain and risky to get to
