EVERYONE HAS THE ABILITY TO USE MAGIC IN BOLTRA
but yeah that doesn't mean anyone or everyone's any good at it ;'3c most people can't use it well or just have like base level ability, especially if they're from Metal or Electric Realm since they tend to focus on tech more as a society. how much you train and study it is a big factor in this
Virgil and Violet are very powerful casters but Virgil refuses to use magic for reasons, and Violet doesn't use it as much as she'd like to because it can take a lot out of her physically (Violet's the stronger of the two though)

yeah it's not like 'oh I got magic I can do anything' if that makes sense?
or if you have a little magic knowledge it doesn't mean you can do just anything, you need to know how to cast that specific spell and how well you practice determines how effective it is, etc etc.

I’m confused why not everyone practices magic if it exists. xD If I found out anyone can learn magic and get good with practice, I would quit my job and just dedicate my life to becoming a spellcaster.
