I seriously want to cry right now. Up until just now i haven't had any bats in my bedroom. I was just minding my own business just trying to get to sleep and bam. Bat swooping around.

I got the bat out of my room the other night at least, but it flew off elsewhere in the house the other night so i dont know if its still in the house somewhere or not.
On a exciting note my Monstera Albo node cuttings arrived yesterday. Now to figure out the best spot to put them. Crossing my fingers that i can get both cuttings to root.

It always fascinated me how some plants grow from cuttings while others grow from seeds. I've never been a green thumb and always manage to kill the plants given to me. ^^;

Ive never really tried rooting houseplant cuttings yet so w'll see how this goes.
The shop i ordered them from sent a very detailed sheet of information on different methods for rooting them so hopefully it'll work out

@Kay: Nice that they sent instructions, and I hope they help! I'm sure if you called or messaged them for advice, they might help too. There's also probably Youtube videos and other resources out there with guidance for what ifs and maybes.
Got most of my new houseplants potted up. Need to find two more pots the right size for the last two new ones.

I have a lovely habit of killing any plant that's given to me, but my son's lima bean that he started growing towards the end of last school year has been doing well! It lasted through summer so far!

Last week I totally cracked and told my boss i can't work as much as they've been asking me in. It was just me consistently having anxiety attacks/panicking :''' ).
They only asked me to come in one day this week (tomorrow), so I'm sure we're going to have a talk about my work hours. I don't feel justified at all in limiting my hours, even though I am, I guess. It's either less work hours or I don't work for them.
When I brought it up they asked why and I was talking about how I'm just... sensitive to light and sound so working as much as I was just overwhelming me, i didn't have enough time to relax from it. And they were like '...... no other reason?'. It probably sounded like an excuse ;;;;; u ;;;. I never thought about how 'it's too bright/loud' sounds to someone who doesn't experience that. It guess really it's just general stress, but that's what pushes me over. It's hard to navigate, this is the first job like this I've worked, so I'm still figuring it out as i go ^ ^".

@neon: I think they are just trying to understand you. You could just tell them that it's stressing you out too much and it wasn't as many hours as you would like to work. Could we limit it to just 3 6-hour shifts a week (or whatever you want). They sound understanding. I'm sure that would be ok. It's just about communication, you know? They probably don't know it's stressing you out.

Yeah it's totally fine u A u it's more stressful in the moment. it didn't help that my partner and dad were like maybe they're going to fire you : o bc one week they hadn't gotten back to me. Maybe they were, but i didn't feel that way and didn't care as much until they both made comments like that - _ -

@Totalanimefan: Thankfully no flooding here that I know of, but hopefully those who did get it have flood insurance.
@neon: I'm sure that week that they didn't get back to you, they were just hella busy for some reason. I was sooo far behind putting together October's schedule for my receptionists, I literally sent it out last night. Usually I try to get done at least the last week of the month for the following month.
