Savra noticed this and changed to their human form, before following Eke out of the RV. Ryker watched at this happened, sighed, and left the vehicle as well, locking it remotely as he did so.

"You okay?" he asked Eke.

"Or just groggy?" he asked further.

"Because y'look barely conscious."

"Im still sleepy...think i slept too much" he said yawning.

"Im alright" he said giving a stretch.

"Could use something sugary, might be crashing"

"We'll grab lunch first, then." Ryker suggested.

"Grab you a soda or something for your drink." he went on.

"You two hungry?" he then asked.

Savra nodded.

"Yes, I am." they said.

"All right." Ryker replied.

"You hungry as well, Eke?"

He shrugs "Probably" he said yawning again.

"You know me, i can always eat" he said giving a crooked smile.

"Sorry i slept so long" he said chuckling.

"Eh." Ryker shrugged in response.

"Sleep all you like." he said.

"It makes the time go by faster, after all." he reasoned.

"...which is to say, time that would be spent just staring out the window or something." he then clarified.

"Regardless, let's get food, then clothing, then start makin' our way home."

Eke practically bee-lined for the food court.

He got something from each place, fighting the urge to yawn the entire time.

He plopped at a table and stretched before taking a large bite of pizza.

Ryker and Savra followed, with Savra grabbing a burger and fries, and Ryker getting some Chinese food. Once they did, they went to the table Eke was at, and Ryker smirked.

"Heh." he chuckled.

"It's good to see that appetite of yours in full swing." he commented.

Savra looked at him confusedly.

"Oh, because it means that he's doing well?" he realised.

"Usually, yes." Ryker confirmed.

Eke stops mid-bite.

He gives a sheepish smile .

"Yeah if im not eating much, my illness is flaring up" he explained.

"Cant tell if its sad or not that you can tell how i feel based on how much i eat" he said rubbing the back of his head chuckling

"Hardly sad." Ryker said.

"An appetite is generally a good measure of health." he said further.

"Yours is just a lot easier to see." he laughed.

Savra just smiled, and continued to eat.

"Oh, yeah." Ryker then said.

"Supposed to rain heavy tonight. So we can listen to the rain as we fall asleep." he told them.

He loved falling asleep to rain.

"Great! Just be careful if you happen to be driving in it" he said finishing off a plate.

"Oh Savra do you have a favorite color?" he asked

"I intend to find a place to park if it starts to get too heavy." he responded.

Savra, as the question was posed, paused and thought about it.

"Hm." they mumbled.

"Oh!" they then said, snapping their fingers.

"Light blue!" they told Eke.

"Gotcha" he said and finished up his food.

"You know what would be great right now?" he said smirking toothily

Ryker had finished what he had, and Savra was finishing their fries, when the latter raised their eyebrow.

"....what?" he asked.

"What are you thinking, Eke?" he asked further.

He knew that toothy smile. It had a mischievous quality to it.

He wouldn't lie that it intrigued him.

Eke simply stood up, threw away his trash, and fixed part of his hair.

It was getting kind of long, so it kind of stuck in his face.

He hummed a bit and seemed to mill about till he got to the ice cream shop.

He leaned on the counter, his taloned tail swishing and exchanged words that couldnt be heard.

After a moment, he was given two cups of ice cream, and no payment seemed to be exchanged, just the bat oof an eyelash and a smile.

After a bit, he returned handing Savra the ice cream with a massive grin.

Savra looked at what they'd been given, almost confusedly.

"Is this... ice cream?" they asked.

"What, you've never had?" Ryker asked in response, rolling his eyes at what Eke had just done.

"No..." Savra replied.

"Well, no time like the present to change that." Ryker reasoned with a shrug.

Savra merely placed a spoonful of it in their mouth... and Eke saw their eyes light up with joy.

He then looked to Savra and smiled.

"I figured...itd be a nice treat yknow?" he said taking a bite of his own.

Savra was just silent, before taking another bite.

And another. And another.

"Woah, woah, slow down." Ryker said.

"But won't it melt?" Savra asked.

"Not worth getting a headache over." Ryker reasoned, before just shaking his head.

"And yeah, seems so." he told Eke with a small smile.

"What?" they asked. "What do you mean?" they asked her.

"Yep." Ryker responded.

"Did it all the time." he commented.

"Granted, it was... probably not in a very good context, as it was before I met YOU, but... well... hm." he then mumbled.

"How's about you just tell us whatcha mean." he suggested with a small laugh.
