I exploded boba all over my microwave

I'm so dumb. I did this while thawing out some frozen boba that I wanted with my tea. I did it for too long and it exploded in the packet and it went EVERYWHERE!
It was a brown sugar one, so sticky tapioca and liquid brown sugar was everywhere! It took me 10 mins to clean it up T_T

that reminds me of the time i microwaved some gummi bears... had to throw away the plate..
and the first time i bought a poptart (u cant get those here unless its at cons or stores that specificly sell american snacks wich there arent alot of)
i misread the packet and left them in for 3 minuts (in my defense... ive never seen anything else that had to b microwaved for only 3 seconds)
i went to do something while waiting and when coming back there was smoke EVERWHERE
I screamed at my gran WHO WAS SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF IT
not long after the smoke alarm went off...

@Totalanimefan: Microwaves be tricky like that. I've had many a microwave incident, even after following packaging directions, checking the wattage, etc.

And yeah, I got it from Costco and they are actually really good and taste like a good boba shop's boba. Not a lot of ingredients either.

Something similar happened to a friend. Meant to put the pizza in the microwave for 3 mins, hit the button one too many times and did it for 30. Smoke happened about 10 mins in.

I think one day I wouldn't mind learning how to make boba at home. Also lychee jelly, which is my favorite topping for teas.

This was one I got from Costco. I've seen videos on how to make it yourself, but never wanted to do it.

@Totalanimefan: There's lots of places around here to get 'raw' boba (for lack of a better word of putting it) but not sure about semi-processed boba. More often than not, I prefer buying fancy drinks than making them myself though. xP

@Totalanimefan: We've made Vietnamese style iced coffee at home a few times, which turned out delicious. Kinda wish sweetened condensed milk was a more common milk/sweetener option in coffee shops.

Another thing I'd be interested in trying is dalgona coffee? I think that's what it's called, but looks like whipped coffee lol.

@Aisukohi: I don’t drink coffee but if I did I would have already tried both. There are lots of places in the CA Bay Area that offer those drinks.

Luckily I had more in the freezer to I just defrosted the bag in hot water instead lol

The microwave wasn't damaged, but I was still in shock (ahahaha no pun intended) I was dumb enough to do that.
