My dogs are older now and go potty inside a lot less. -still knocks on wood-

@Koah: Well I guess you lucked out with one of them. My dog can't seem to hold it anymore, but even as a not senior dog sometimes he would go inside to mark his territory
Oh no! That's terrible. I have to be careful with mine and my cat has already torn it up a bit. Luckily this winter hasn't been too cold so it's seen limited use. He adores it more than me!

I was lucky that my dog didn't have any incontinence issues but I lived with a room mate whose cat once laid a little turd right between my blanket and sheet on my bed. I don't know how it did it, but honestly I was kind of impressed and baffled.

WARNING: My profile has animated gifs and flashing colours @Rainbow Reaper: They are great! I've gotten them at Target before and this one is from Costco. You should be able to find them easily if it's in your budget.
Yeah what's hard is that normally they can't go in the wash. This one from Costco says that you can, but you have to make sure that you follow the instructions.
I still haven't washed any of my electric blankets, although I was sure to purchase ones that said they were able. I think I just didn't want to risk it quite yet, so I've been zhuzhing them up with linen sprays and semi-cleaning that you'd do for something like a mattress.
But man, a pet mess on one is tough. I hope you were able to clean the blanket!

I was thanks for asking. I was lucky and I got one that you could put in the wash. It's all good now.
