@Totalanimefan: I used to love going camping with my dad because they would zero in on him and ignore me almost completely. On the flip side, my grandfather (mother's side) never got bitten. Kinda weird.

My sister went all out this year and got the family 'nicer' gifts.
So I received 2 Kate Spade purses, slippers, and silk jammies. My friends got me looney tunes and star trek merch and coffee. <3 I feel so spoiled from this Christmas.
Normally I get a nerd gift or 2 from my husband each year and we keep things low-key with my kiddos.

i pretty much just got books, which is exactly what i wanted, so i'm really happy about that. i've got an entire wall of bookshelves, so i'm working on filling them ;-;
