So here is one thing you should know about the Home Screen customizations. You can do it without downloading any other apps. I keep seeing adds for apps promoting icon themes but you literally can find and image to use and do it yourself without risking your privacy and your phones health. You just need to know how to use shortcuts. The disadvantage to changing the icons though is that you don’t get the notification bubble on the Icon, and every time you select the icon it’s going to open shortcuts then open the app your going to use. This makes it somewhat slower and to me was annoying so I just stopped customizing it. I wish that iPhone would just give us the ability to change up themes on our phones as we like. The widgets are nice they make things simpler in certain ways and give the Home Screen a nice look. What I feel is the best feature on ios14 is the fact that I have an App Library and can hide home screens easily. This is a feature I use often instead of having a gazillian folders just sitting on my Home Screen.
