i went into the city for an appt and came right back home
it was fine but like weirdly i felt very emotional lol like i teared up a little on the way in ...

I don't bake super often, but I tend to feel like doing it on my days off (such as today). What about you?
I'm the same waaaay! I struggle to fold and put it away, but I have no problems letting it sit in a clean pile. xD I know that's terrible because it gets wrinkles and such, but I figure I can just spritz it and toss it in the dryer for a few minutes if I need a quick de-wrinkling.

mm i think i make food a good amount in general, like cooking
i got into baking a few years ago though, mostly w making cookies and eventually brownies :3
i haven't made a lot of cakes though, i live alone and there's only so much dessert i can handle by myself haha
(although i do have a loaf pan maybe i can try making personal size cakes .... ? :0 !)

There actually are recipes out there for single servings, believe it or not! Might be worth looking into? I found one for edible cookie dough a while back lol.
I used to try to get multiple wears out of my clothes too, but now that's harder to do since I feel like I sweat more often than I used to.

ooh tru!!! i'll def look into that next time i'm craving cake :-D i usually keep pantry/baking essentials stocked too (flour eggs sugar etc) so maybe i can whip something up one of these days ~
i don't usually have stuff for icing though , i always worry about how long dairy can keep and i think it makes me tired if i have too much of it?

I'm not a huge fan of winter (even though we hardly get one here in Florida) because I can't stand being cold. My joints start to hurt when it gets too cold for me. Also at least here, static is a thing since we have less humidity and heavy coats/boots dragging against stuff creates the perfect environment for it. Yuck.

I think the coldest I've seen it here was in the teens? But it rarely gets below maybe the 30s. I think on average we stay in the 50s though.
I can't imagine having to walk in/on ice a lot. I'd be terrified of slipping and breaking something. And slush sounds soooo gross! I'd have to wear galoshes or something everywhere.

here i feel like we bounce from extreme hot to extreme cold (and back) so jacket weather is a Very narrow window lol
i've definitely slipped and fallen on ice before it's totally scary!!! luckily cities usually are prepared + salt the walkways in advance
(when it has happened it was before they had a chance to)
slush is definitely gross haha wet and cold socks is like the worst feeling!! but getting into your warm home and changing into something comfy and dry is soo nice afterwards lol
